As you dedicate yourself to enhancing others' mental health, it can be challenging to focus on your own well-being. The nature of our work  make us vulnerable to stress, poor self-care and other problems such as burnout, empathy fatigue and vicarious traumatization. Prioritizing self-care is essential. That is why I'm hosting this Free event for you.

No experience required. However, you will need to be comfortable lying on the floor.

TRE (Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a body-based practice designed to help individuals release deep muscular patterns of stress and tension. Developed by Dr. David Berceli, TRE uses a series of simple exercises to invoke a natural shaking or vibrating response in the body, known as neurogenic tremors. Research shows that these tremors can help discharge the nervous system from chronic and traumatic stress, promoting a return to calm and balance.

Join  Alba Porras, certified TRE provider, License Associate Counselor and Yoga instructor on Saturday, November 22th at 10:30 am for a morning of self-care.

I'm Alba, a bilingual (English/Spanish) counselor (LAC) and somatic movement practitioner dedicated to supporting mental health and fostering empowerment and wellness of my community. 

I have multiple years of experience teaching yoga, mindfulness, and somatic practices with a focus on trauma and mental wellness.  I'm all about preventing burnout, and that is why I'm hosting this event for you.
